Nifty Utility to Create Clustered and Stacked Column Charts

If you’re trying to cram a 3-dimensional set of comparative data points into a single chart, you should consider a clustered and stacked column chart.   For example, if you want to compare sales across 3  regions, 2 groups, and 4 quarters, that’s a 3-dimensional comparison that requires a chart that looks like this:

For Excel users, this is not a standard chart.  It would be difficult to create one without a lot of work.  However, Jon Peltier has created a utility for creating clustered-stacked column charts to make this task much easier.   Check it out!
